Mission

Young grower

The Nut Growers Association of Moldova (ANRM) is a national organization that unites walnut, hazelnut, and almond growers, nurseries, processing companies, and other stakeholders.

The association promotes collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the overall development of the nut industry in Moldova. Our efforts focus on fostering best practices in nut cultivation, addressing common challenges faced by growers, and facilitating communication among members.

We frequently organize events such as conferences, seminars, and workshops. Additionally, we conduct research on cultivation techniques, advocate for the interests of growers at governmental levels, and establish quality standards for Moldovan walnuts. Through these initiatives, the association contributes to the sustainability and growth of the walnut industry in Moldova, benefiting both growers and the wider community.

About ANRM

Our mission is to provide a supportive network for growers, facilitating continuous learning and skill development in walnut cultivation. We strive to advocate for the interests of our members, working closely with governmental bodies to create an enabling environment for the walnut industry. Also, we do our best to ensure that growers market their production at optimum prices.  We wish to advance the Moldovan walnut industry and ensure its long-term sustainability and success.

Through our united efforts, we envision a resilient and thriving walnut sector that not only meets international standards but also contributes significantly to the economic and agricultural landscape of Moldova. Our vision is to empower our members, promote environmental stewardship, and ensure the long-term success of Moldovan walnut cultivation on the global stage.

 ANRM’s General Objective:

Moldova's walnut production holds immense export potential. The country is renowned for producing high-quality walnuts, and unifying this sector can lead to increased exports and improved economic prospects. Our primary objective is to harness this potential by fostering unity, solidarity, networking, cooperation, and knowledge sharing among growers. Together, we aim to overcome diverse challenges in agronomy, commerce, and administration. By synchronizing operations, ensuring a sustainable supply, and maintaining consistent quality across various growers, we seek to enhance the export capacity of Moldovan walnuts.

  • Contributing to the continuous development of the nut sector and ensuring its long-term sustainability.

  • Defending and promoting the interests of nut growers, both men and women, especially small and average farmers.
